Transformation and vulnerability
No doubt Abby's life has been transformed. In the lead up to filming her story, Abby bumped into an old friend from what she would call her 'former life', and they briefly reconnected and shared the latest from what was going on in each of their lives. Her friend was astonished to discover Abby was getting married and had reconnected with her faith in Jesus and remarked, "the 'old Abby' would never be doing this!" The response as her story was shared online is not surprising. A transformation story shared vulnerably is truly a compelling thing.
